Noyola

Noyola.jpg

Meet Noyola - Born and raised in La Cordillera, just north of the picturesque town of Mora at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. She has lived most of her adult life in Las Vegas and is one of fifteen children.

She’s enjoyed a long career working with the State of New Mexico and is now retired.  In her 60s – although she doesn't look like it – she is a survivor of some very challenging situations. Along the way she learned how to forgive & forget. "Life is too short."

Years ago, Noyola took it upon herself to start the local chapter of the San Miguel County Federation of Democratic Women and has helped elect many local, state, and federal candidates.

She is most proud of raising two successful daughters and likes to spend her retirement being a caregiver for her 94-year-old mom, volunteering, and camping with her husband and their dog, Macy. One of their favorite places is the beautiful Valle Vidal "(Valley of Life") is a 101,794 acres mountain basin in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains within the Carson National Forest, northwest of Cimarron, NM and is noted for its pristine scenery and wildlife.
