Saint Dre–SOLD
Dre was found wandering the streets of Las Vegas, NM dragging a chain behind him. Upon further inspection, the chain was also his collar and was imbedded into his skin. This typically happens a person puts the chain on when the dog is a puppy and then never adjusts it as the dog grows.
The Animal Welfare Coalition got Dre to a vet who surgically removed the chain. When I met him, he had completely healed and was happy to play with me. I was impressed with how willing he was to give humans another chance so I nicknamed him Saint Dre: The Patron Saint of Second Chances.
It's very subtle but I put a faint golden glow around Dre's head like a saint in a religious painting.
Happily he now has found a forever home with a human who won't chain him up again.
