J.J. – SOLD

J.J. passed away before I met him but his people told me so many stories and sent me so many photos that I felt like I knew him. J.J. stands for "Judge and Jury" which is how they said he behaved as hi observed them from his favorite perches.

In this composition I juxtaposed warm and cool colors along with darks and lights so that the whole painting felt balanced, just like a judge would strive to see a case.
